We joined Peak Divide and Altra running for their Peak District event with 350 runners, shufflers and cyclists making their way from Manchester to Sheffield over two days.
Participants were greeted at the Edale half-way mark with a Vimto-inspired fresh grape, raspberry and blackcurrant sorbet, flavoured with rose, vanilla, fresh orange zest and date syrup – a nod to the soft drink's secret recipe that originated in Salford – Manchester – in 1908.
